While this weekend’s sneaker lineup may lack the quantity of releases that we saw last weekend, it surely makes up for it in quality. Some silhouettes lend themselves most effortlessly to custom interpretations and the Vans Authentic is one such model. The BAIT x Saucony Shadow Original “CruelWorld” is a collaborative piece with a difference; it is vegan in construction. To put it simply, this one does not involve any cruelty to animals, which means there is no leather on it. Instead, the upper is constructed using canvas, suede, and hemp and it sits on a cork footbed. Even the glue used to keep things together is vegan. These sneakers are set for release on December 2nd. $120 gets you a pair.

And every time a pair is sold, some portion gets shared with “A Place Called Home,” a non-profit youth center in South Central, Los Angeles which guides on programs in the arts, athletics, dance, and music to local kids and teens.
