Teasing fans of the silhouette with an unreleased mockup, Revis’s manager John Geiger let his followers get a glimpse a Jordan 2-inspired colorway. Mirroring the oft-overlooked signature, white tops off the kick, underlined by a black midsole with black and red accents throughout. Some things just never get old. Case in point, the Nike Air Max Light. Seen in “Black Pine,” the title color takes up most of the real estate on the upper, with neutral grey providing help up top in keeping the tone down. Reversing the sought after Nike Air Foamposite One “Paranorman”, this one of one is still flaming. The Nike Air Foamposite One “Norman You Devil” Custom flips the script and sets the famous graphic upper in a new set of hues. The “Paranormans” were one of the first Nike Foamposites to place a print onto the iconic basketball sneaker. Cooked up by the Chef of GourmetKickz, the upper maintains the same zombie mist design of its original inspiration. A gradient red to black, front to back, base is put in flames that contrast from black to red. Using a pair of the “Fighter Jet” Foams as a canvas, the “Norman You Devil” Custom features custom heel badges and insoles for intricate detailing. One of the brand in Beaverton’s original blueprints is altered to create the Nike Cortez NM QS “OG”. This remixed Cortez takes the simple upper and gives it a ride on a slitted midsole for improved performance. Although the midsole is made over for a more athletic design, many elements of the Cortez NM remain intact. Keeping the patent side strip and ruffled outsole intact still gives this new version an original feel. Silver reflective material on the tongue and toe stop add detailing, and the “Chilling Red” colorway is unmissable. The multi-purpose Nike SB Lunar Gato is seen in Armory Slate/University Red.
