The DXC x Sneaker Pimps hybrid show will be making stops in DC and Philly this October. Attendees will have the chance to buy, sell, trade and talk kicks at both tour dates. In addition to the sneaker exchanging, Travi$ Scott will be performing at both stops. Also, the DXC will be teaming up with AC3 Fest in Atlanta for a special show and after party. NBA Media Day 2013 is in the books and we are now only a week away from NBA action and a new season of Kicks On Court. Before the start of every season, each team holds their own Media Day where reporters and photographers can publicize the roster and get a preview of the year ahead. While players aren’t answering tough questions, they are posing for pictures in their latest sneakers. From King James wearing a custom-made Nike LeBron X, to Kobe Bryant‘s first time in a jersey since his unfortunate early exit last season, there was an abundance of new footwear in this season’s kickoff.

Nike’s “The Glove” pack consists of two interesting silhouettes; the ubiquitous Air Force 1 and the much elusive Air Zoom Flight “The Glove”. The cool thing about the pack is that the AF1 really takes up after Gary Payton’s signature pair. The Air Force One in the pack is inspired by not only the colorway but also the choice of materials and down to the zip-lacing system of the original Glove. Take a look at the images to see what we mean. On the 12th, we’ll have Payton renewing his rivalry with MJ, albeit only figuratively. That’s because the  ”Steel” Air Jordan X retro will also be hitting store shelves that day.
