The Nike Air Force 1 SP “Grey Speckled Carbon Fiber” presents an interesting picture for a couple of reasons. One, carbon fiber has not made many appearances on this model and when it has done so it has not been on the front, it has always been on the back or the heel area.

This time round, the sneaker gets woven carbon fiber on the front toe area and speckled canvas on the heel and eyestay. The speckled effect extends to the tonal laces as well. We don’t know when these are due but we hope its sooner rather than later ‘coz these are perfect colors for the fall season.

The Air Jordan 10 Retro takes the Grade School form in “Fusion Red” as one can gauge from these preview pics. The sneakers will hit the stores next year. The sneakers feature a full suede body with black leather on the eyestay, laces, tongue and sole. A checkered pink and black lining makes a discreet appearance. A yellow jumpman is present on the sole. Ideal sneakers for kids.

The color red in all its hues is the flavor of the season and it appears that its reign will extend into the new year too. No word on pricing as yet.

The New Balance “Blue Tab” pack consists of street-wear interpretations of the following runners – M890BN, MR1400BN and MRC1600N. All three sneaker models feature burgundy and blue colors, each sits on an off-white rubber sole and has a Revlite midsole. The appearances are a twist on what you’d expect New Balance sneakers to look like.

Take a look at the images, subtle differences in appearance. These are available from tomorrow. The 1400 and 1600 will retail for £99.00 while the 890 will cost £89.00.

Gary Warnett, contributor to Crooked Tongues and a sneaker enthusiast gets his name attached with an iconic silhouette and it’s not too shabby looking a piece; we are talking about the Gary Warnett x Reebok Classic Leather. The sneakers take inspiration from an unlikely source, prisons in the United Kingdom.

The sneakers in tan leather and orange canvas have white arrows on the upper. The colors are a prison uniform standard as are the arrows that are used for identifying escaped prisoners. The Union Jack serves to strengthen the U.K connection. Available from Saturday onward for $120.

Rajon Rondo has officially signed with Anta. After starting his career in Reeboks, then switching over to Nikes, the Boston Celtics point guard has now made another move. Joining his former teammate Kevin Garnett as the leading members of Anta’s basketball roster, Rajon already has his first signature shoe, the Anta Rondo I. Featuring a partial mesh upper for breathability and Anta’s “Auto Arch” technology in the mid-foot, the All-Star’s signature is personalized with his famous ball-fake silhouette on the tongue. First seen in C’s green and white, Rondo has already been spotted working out in his new model.
