The Nike Air Diamond Turf, once favored by football star Deion Sanders, are steadily worming their way into public consciousness. The latest iteration of these sneakers is the “Blue Hero”. It features a nubuck upper in two distinct tones and a Velcro fastener that sits on the laces. Tonal laces do their bit for the appearance. Black, white, and grey complement the blue quite nicely.

Before his days of yelling “Action!” and gaining traction in the music video realm (congratulations on the BET Hip Hop Award Nomination), Georgia’s own Decatur Dan was rooted in the sneaker game. While still humble beyond his hustle, having relocated to Hollywood, he also remains true to his sneakerhead roots. Decatur Dan: “I keep it simple. Jeans and a white tee, with the shoes pretty much making the outfit. This shoe has always been one of my favorites. I bought it on accident. It kind of slept under the radar and ended up being at Walter’s, and they got only 8-12 pairs in. Super comfortable. Super clean.”
