PMK Customs is quickly becoming one of our favorite companies here at SoleRedemption. They continue to churn out some of the most creative re-creations of classic shoes around, and they are at it again with a pair of PUMAs, to celebrate the success of one of the brand’s celebrity ambassadors, MMG rapper Meek Mill, and his current single “Levels”.

To add to the celebrations, the guys at PMK have put together their own version of the PUMA Suede Mid Levels Edition. PMK has taken the classic shoe and re-imagined it with high-quality materials; white ostrich, calfskin leather, and lizard to make a truly one-of-a-kind shoe.

“With the success of Meek Mill’s new hit single “Levels” tearing up the airwaves, PMK started brainstorming developing a shoe that will match the lyrics of his song “Levels.” Meek states in Levels “We don’t rock the same clothes, Cuz its Levels to this sh*t.” We felt that we would create a shoe that displays the difference of what a normal person would wear and one that Meek would wear. Hence the this idea, we thought why not go with a summer luxury look for Meek. So we created an all white Puma Suede with White Ostrich upper and a hit of crocodile on the toe box.”

Black and gold always combine well to exude that effect of sophisticated aristocracy, and the Reebok Pump Fury – Black / True Gold / Excellent Red gets it right. The upper is almost all-leather which serves as the base for a textured effect on the sides. A cushioned collar promises comfort. The insole is gold and black textile. Another drop from the cascade of Reebok Classic releases this year; no, we are not complaining. Au contraire, keep ‘em coming. This time round its a “Teal Gem” that demands attention. The vector, midsole, and inner lining are white-paperwhite to be precise-while the tongue tab and heel are brown. A gum sole forms the base for these sneakers. Apart from this, it’s teal suede all the way. It’s an old-school runner that is having the happiest 30th birthday that a sneaker can ever hope for.
