The Nike Blazer Mid “Zebra” comes as a refreshing breath of freshness, an animal print that’s not feline or some cold-blooded reptilian. Everybody loves zebras; they are cute cud chewers but can also kill a lion with a powerful strike of their hind legs. The rubber-soled sneakers feature suede detailing on the Swoosh, eye stays and the toe guard. These could just as well have been white, but Nike choose black suede. No word on when these brutes hit the stores, but whenever that is, we’ll let you know.

Converse Chuck Taylor 70 Patch Hi – the name gives a nice indication of what to expect. We’re talking about a sneaker that has taken some very smart inspiration from patchwork; the oldest, niftiest, and thriftiest technique to make use of discarded cloth. Black piping on top of the rubber midsole appears as a fine embellishment on a sneaker that carries a real Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde look with herringbone twill fabric on the right and plaid fabric on the left.

The Supra Stacks Vulc “Charcoal/Gum” a.k.a the Terry Kennedy Pro model. It sports a grey canvas upper  and has flat tonal laces passing through metal eyelets. Black laces are complementary with the pair which sits on a gum sole and costs $60. Black appears on the tongue and inner lining. The shoe collar is nicely cushioned. Black piping runs around the gum midsole.

Supra is fast perfecting the art of creating minimalist masterpieces in canvas. This one is a prime example.

The Air Jordan XII “Taxi” that was first previewed in March, now has a release date-the 14th of December. This OG colorway is a true retro and has the sneaker fixed with gold-plated eyelets through which white rope laces are threaded. We know now that $160 will get you a pair. If you missed on adding this silhouette to your collection when it last came out as a part of the Collezione Package in 2008; then this is your great chance. Check out the images and stay primed.

Truth be told, it hasn’t been that long since Pendleton x Vans Vault Sk8-Hi released. Dropping in 2010, this limited launch followed up previous pairings between Pendleton and Vans Vault, mixing moccasin styling with the favorited fabric. While the terms ‘mature’ and ‘lux’ come to mind when describing this collab, the colorway still featured enough character and creativity to standout. Smart stitch work, choice leather and slanted panelling make this release more than worthy of a second run. We want these for the fall, bring ‘em back!
