An in-store release has already taken place, but you will have another chance at this John Harvard statue-inspired collaboration online today. At 1 PM EST, the Concepts x ASICS Gel Lyte III “Three Lies” will release online at cncpts.com.

Channeling the year of the snake, we find the adidas Originals Tech Super featuring the reptilian print. Adhering to its nickname of “Grey Snake,” the accordingly textured material is used to cover the prominent panels of the classic sneaker. Filling in the blanks, perforations are seen on the toe box throughout the underlays. Suede and canvas round of the remaining exterior portions of the shoe, while premium leather lines in the shoe’s insides. Retailing for $120, you can get a jump start on these kicks at Undefeated.

The Puma: RS100 “Animal” (Zinnia/Cherry Tomato/Blue) marks the triumphant return of the RS100 running sneaker that had been keeping a low profile for awhile. The vibrantly colored upper has been constructed using suede, mesh, leather, and fake fur. If you’re a fan of out of the ordinary color blocking and eclectic choice of materials, then these are for you.

The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Cigarpocket makes a long overdue appearance; the last time a “pocket” All Star grabbed headlines was in 2011, when it donned a denim avatar; it’s easily the sneaker of the week for me. The upper…is not canvas, it’s nylon. I’d give the nod to canvas over nylon any day, though. It’s available in two shades, green and blue. Both feature a zippered pocket; an extra bit of accessorization.

Use it to keep some emergency money or…a cigar. A white toecap and black piping complete the picture here. Check ‘em out.

The Supra Passion Black/Gum takes its design cues from the quintessential desert boots; the Lizard King in black on a gum sole looks ready for action with its flap stitched on to the inner and buttoned down on the outside. The flap, made of corduroy, serves to cushion the area above the ankle. The Passion sports a suede-and-leather upper; the vulcanized gum rubber midsole presents an eye-pleasing contrast.

Fila has done great in 2013 and, along with Reebok and adidas, has really succeeded in riding the retro wave this year. It now presents the FILA “Bulls by the Horn” Pack, which consists of the FILA 96, FILA Spaghetti and FILA F-13. Bulls, of course, refers to Chicago Bulls and the colors – black, red, and white point to the Windy City’s iconic team. The Spaghetti with red streaks is the eyecatcher for me. This said, the F-13 in black with red accents stands out as the most different in the lot.

Look out for an end of the month release for these ones. They’re coming on August 22th. $90 gets you a pair.
