The Nike Air Max 90 Hyperfuse “4th of July” Collection celebrates what is the most significant day for all true blue Americans. It’s a pack consisting of three solids in red, white, and blue. A slightly different approach usually adopted where all three colors share space on a single silhouette. The Hyperfuse containing composite upper has three layers and is yet very light with fewer seams.

The silver Air Max unit on the midsole and the flag on the tongue are common across all three pairs.

The New Balance “Rugby Pack” consists of the established silhouette, the NB574, but not in suede and mesh. So appealing do I find this fact, that I couldn’t help adding it in the title of this post. The 574 gets a neat makeover and comes out looking so smart in canvas. It is available in red, navy, green, and grey colorways.

The tonal tag on the tongue (how’s that for alliteration) looks neat. All rest on white midsoles and sport white laces.

The Nike WMNS Air Max Thea “Camo” is one of the newer running models to have been released from the NSW stable; it carries influences from low cut runners of the nineties, like the Air Max 90. Textured black hyperfuse on the sides and black synthetic suede on the mudguard contribute to its appearance; but it’s the camo effect on the toebox and collar that gives this piece its real appeal.

The two-layered upper has orange on the inside visible through a slit in the white midsole and perforations along the heel. This is a fall / winter release; we’ll let you know the exact date. Till then, check the images. What’s your opinion of the Thea “Camo”?

The adidas Skate Campus Vulc gets a new colorway and some nice touch-ups. Check out the images of this iteration. These sneakers are available now and can be yours for a mere $60. Do you know that the Campus began life as a basketball sneaker, way back in the 70s? These skateboarding sneakers carry a white suede upper with fat black laces and blue stripes.

It rests on a vulcanized sole. The midsole carries a neat black piping which, along with the blue, adds color to the white body.

The Vans California Era 59 “Brushed” Pack consists of two colorways, Dress Blues and Sedona Sage. These brushed cotton low-tops sit on top of white midsoles. Thoughtful touches like paisley and polka dot prints line the interior and make the offerings here interesting; white laces are threaded through embroidered eyelets.

These kicks acknowledge the role baseball has played in American pop culture; printed insole pointing to colorful bandannas and the the brushed cotton upper recalls baseball caps. Will be available in the coming months; will keep you informed.

The Air Jordan 11 “Dirty Snakes” Custom sets you back by a mere $750. It’s an inspired take on the AJ11 by Snaphigh. Leather embossed with a reptilian pattern takes the place of the mudguard here; otherwise the black mid-soled and red outsoled “Dirty Snakes” silhouette is quite reminiscent of the original.
