Eric Koston’s impact on the skate culture is well known. With the release of his latest shoe, the Nike SB Koston 2, skaters everywhere were excited for the chance to shred in the technologically advance kicks. During the UEFA Champions League final, adidas unveiled a plethora of new soccer products, with one of them being the 99g. The adidas 99g name says it all, as it only weighs 99 grams (3.48 ounces). After the game-changing release of the f50, adidas is set to release the adidas 99g come 2015. Not much is known in terms of materials used or exact release information, but stay tuned to Nice Kick for further updates from adidas Soccer.

To say Eric Koston is a skateboard legend would be understating his cultural relevance. Koston has been a skateboarding fixture and influencer for over two decades. Not only has he aided in the creation of numerous skate shoes and innovations, but he can boast his own signature Nike SB line.
