The Nike Waffle Racer VNTG is a survivor from the 70s; like Rocky Balboa and like the champ, a winner, too. The suede and nylon creation here has not exactly set the Thames on fire, but it continues to go strong. And if you’re looking for a pair of strong running sneakers, go for these.

There are two new colorways to choose from, and these are slated for a Summer 2013 release. We are talking about a grey/black edition and a Sport Turquoise colorway. The former carries an impression that it’s derived from classic colors of yore, while the latter is definitely a modern interpretation. No meddling with the design though. These sneakers sit on a tough rubber waffle sole.
