The Nike Court Tranxition – Black – Blue is available for $85. It’s, as you can deduce from the images, a basketball-inspired sneaker. These mid-cuts are constructed from leather and suede. The construction sits on an environment-friendly rubber outsole and has a PU midsole for comfort and cushioning.

Take a look at the images and then consider the name; these drop hints. The silhouette is a throwback to the past, back then these would have been graded performance sneakers but are casual wear today. Takes nothing away from their cool quotient, anyway.

JR Smith continues to command attention in the playoffs by way of his kicks. In last night’s Game 6 of the Celtics vs. Knicks series, Smith took the court in the yet-to-be-released Air Jordan 11 Low White/Black-True Red, a shoe that will hit retailers in early June. In the second half, Mr. Smith rocked the Air Jordan 3 “True Blue.”

In total, Smith wore seven different shoes in the first round of the playoffs: the “Superhero” LeBron X Elite, the “EYBL” KD V Elite, two pairs of Hyperdunk 2012 Lows, the Nike Air Trainer SC and the two sneakers from last night.

The Saucony x Bodega Elite Shadow 6 will be available from tomorrow and can be yours for $110. Bodega of Boston has gone to work on the Saucony G9 Shadow 6 and the result is this sneaker which looks like a cross between a butterfly and a cat…at least in terms of what’s on the upper. Purple, cat prints, khaki suede and shades of brown have gone into the making of these.

Take a look at the images. Bodega and Saucony have thrown up some interesting creations in the past few months. Does this one resting on a dark gum bottom qualify?
