In a loving gesture to his girlfriend, District Customs did what he does best; customize sneakers. Using a pair of Nike LeBron 9 “Summit Lake Hornets” as a base, Trevor Duffles painted the sneakers in 37 different color and patterns. The zany color scheme (or lack thereof) is indicative of the bright, wild style of the ‘90s, and the name derives from the “What the…” colorway series of popular Nike sneakers. Aptly titled, the Nike LeBron 9 “What the ’90s” Custom is a one of one.

We’ve seen lifestyle renditions of the LeBron X, and now the Kobe 8 will receive the same treatment this weekend. Releasing at select Nike Sportswear accounts is the Nike Kobe 8 Lifestyle Bright Citrus/Track Brown. Also known as the “Mexican Blanket” Kobe 8, this sneaker features a plethora of colors on the upper that shares a likeness with a serape. The Bright Citrus/Track Brown Kobe 8 will release on June 1, 2013 with a $110 price tag. Will you cop or drop?

Presenting here detailed images of a rather distinct Nike Air Foamposite One; it’s called the “Weatherman” and it is set for release on August 31st. The design on these sneakers is reminiscent of what has already come out on the KD IV. The white and blue upper contains what look like doppler waves and a pixelated heat map.
