The Van Doren line by Vans, named so after the company’s founder, gets a new pack to show off in the month of June. This is the Maze Pack and consists of the Sk8-Hi and Era featuring a maze pattern. The Sk8-Hi has gray suede on the sides and a rather subtle maze print on black canvas that you’d have to look twice for to notice. Overall, it presents an impressive picture with red Vans branding. Set to retail for $65.

$55 gets you the Vans Era with a much more visible maze on the grey canvas upper. Red piping runs above the vulcanized rubber sole. Take a look at the images. Classic silhouettes given some interesting treatment.

Here’s some suede and mesh goodness from these three retro Puma TX-3 that are available now and cost $79 a pair. Go back to the late eighties when the Nike Air Max was making waves and, at the same time, other sneaker heavyweights were coming out with some interesting kicks of their own – like the Puma TX-3. Such a popular and common silhouette.

The low cuts I wore were invariably something similar to these, doubt if they sported 3M on the tongue and a dual-density wedge sole like these do.

A camo pack with a difference it looks neat. This is the The SUPRA “Desert Camo” Pack in which Zumiez comes together with the sneaker manufacturer to create some desert magic with the Supra Skytop, Supra Stacks, and Supra Passion. Rip-stop canvas used for all three silhouettes has been covered from heel to toe in a desert camo print.

Each silhouette brings something different with it. The Skytop is available for $109.95 and features black lining, black laces, and black foxing. It sits on a vulcanized outsole.

Nike’s fascination with Brazil finds further expression through the Fausto Fantinuoli x Nike: Landscapes of Brazil. Except that these are not sneakers but landscapes created taking inspiration from four Nike silhouettes, the Bomba, Air Max, Elastico, and Gato. These are sneakers from the NIKE football FC247 range and the NIKE sportswear beaches of rio collections.

The London-based graphic artist has succeeded in creating a vibrant mosaic that is a riot of colors and evocative of Brazil. Take a look at the images, and tell us what you think.
