The adidas Originals Trimm Star “Argentina Blue” is apparently disappearing as fast as it appears on the shelves of retailers in Europe. The training shoe that dates back to the 70s carries a blue suede upper; back on those days, Argentina was a soccer superpower and Maradona was beginning to make his mark. The football connection here arises from the color of the sneakers; it shares the color with Argentina’s soccer team jersey.

Meek Mill’s endorsement deal with Puma has obviously been working for the benefit of both parties; the brand has enjoyed a renewal of major interest. The rapper chose PMK to create sneakers that carried the theme of his album “Dreams and Nightmares”.

The designer chose the ever-popular Puma Suede for the experiment in creativity and came up with two iterations, grey and gold representing Dreams and a black-colored sneaker telling us what perdition could be like. Well, if it’s anything as classy as these sneakers, it won’t be half as bad as we’ve been brought up to believe.

The Black Mamba’s season may have unfortunately ended quicker than he, or anybody else, expected due to a possible torn Achilles tendon in last night’s game versus the Golden State Warriors. Kobe Bryant will undergo an MRI today, but the team officials have already referred to the injury as “probable” and “complete tear.”

If Bryant’s last game of the season was last night, he undoubtedly went out with a bang, performance-wise and shoe-wise. Before limping to the sideline, Bryant recorded 34 points, five rebounds and four assists while debuting a new colorway of his upcoming Nike Kobe 8 ELITE+. His latest ELITE+ features a mainly white Dynamic Flywire upper with multiple hints of purple on the midsole, collar, tongue among other sections; yellow branding completes this ELITE’s color scheme. The Black Mamba’s wear of these comes just two days after Bryant scored a season high 47 points in his debut of the Kobe ELITE+ silhouette.

The Nike Flyknit Racer “Multicolor” got a release in three colorways yesterday. Launched last year, the Racer has been quietly operating under the radar with the two colorways that were given to it. Now it has three more to feel proud of. And these are the blue/red, purple/orange, and one that’s kind of reminiscent of the colors from some Arabian Nights story, but in reality is a cool use of CMYK yarns used effectively.
