The adidas Originals JS Wings 2.0 gets a zany makeover and a new moniker “Dollars”. Got to commend adidas for this; such stuff only happens when you give your designer total carte blanche and he on his part can then give free rein to his creativity. The upper consists of a repeat of dollar bills. Off-white laces and midsole are to remind one of the color of American currency notes. And that face over there, that’s not a young Lincoln you’re looking at, that’s good old JS himself.

This is scheduled for a fall / winter release. We’re giving you this early heads up so that you can take a look at the image and make up your mind. Stay tuned.

The “Authentic LX” line by Vans gets two more colorways for Spring 2013 – light/dark brown and black/grey. Both feature pigskin suede and full-grain leather on the upper. Leather laces are threaded through metal eyelets. The construction rests on a vulcanized rubber outsole. These low-cuts effortlessly combine a classy appeal with rugged appearance. No word on release date yet. But stay tuned and we’ll let you know.

KSM Customs has chosen a pair of Nike KD Vs as the canvas for their latest creation. Using the impending Iron Man 3 movie for inspiration, Tony Stark’s iconic gold and maroon suit inspires the upper.
