Yesterday, we reported that Nike was teaming up with First Lady Michelle Obama to help kids get active. Nike has announced their $50 million commitment to help kids get in shape and extend their lives by five years. Only one in three kids are active on a daily basis, and Michelle Obama and Nike want to change that. At the announcement ceremony for the partnership, Nike brought signature athletes Serena Williams, Bo Jackson, Allyson Felix, Gabby Douglas, Paul Rodriguez, Ashton Eaton, and Colin Kaepernick. The Nike Air Max 1 ‘Denim’ Pack is a cool mix of technology and a commonplace everyday fabric – denim. It could have been canvas too. But it’s denim and it’s just right for the coming spring. There are three color combinations to choose from, these are black/volt, blue/turquoise and grey/blue.

Denim as you know is the fabric that jeans are made from. It’s coarse cotton fabric that is quite durable. The denim upper is broken only by the leather on the Swoosh. The lining is mesh. Tonal laces have been used.
