Yesterday, we reported that Nike was teaming up with First Lady Michelle Obama to help kids get active. Nike has announced their $50 million commitment to help kids get in shape and extend their lives by five years. Only one in three kids are active on a daily basis, and Michelle Obama and Nike want to change that. At the announcement ceremony for the partnership, Nike brought signature athletes Serena Williams, Bo Jackson, Allyson Felix, Gabby Douglas, Paul Rodriguez, Ashton Eaton, and Colin Kaepernick. Check out the video below to see how physical activity helped out Sierra Vista Junior High School.
