The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Varsity Swoosh” – Navy takes forward the saga of the AF1 iterations that saw quite a few releases in the past year. As with the other colorways this one too follows the time-tried and successful template of a two-tone color combination with a fair bit of white thrown in.

Grenson, premium footwear manufacturer, has commissioned the services of Ronnie Fieg and together they give us the Ronnie Fieg for Grenson 2013 Capsule Collection.

Grenson of England goes back 140 years and is known for its expertise with leather. The same attention to detail and exquisite workmanship can be seen here in this capsule collection which consists of the Spike V and Fred V. Both rest on top of a Vibram sole. The former sports a two-toned scheme while the Fred V has a distinct brogue-like shape and red leather heel spike.

Street basketball legend, sneaker connoisseur, and overall NYC legend Bobbito Garcia teamed with Kevin Couliau to produce the independent film, Doin’ It in the Park: Pick-Up Basketball, NYC chronicling the incredible world of New York streetball. The movie showcases pickup games from the five boroughs, and includes interviews with NYC legends Kenny Smith, God Shammgod, Pee Wee Kirkland, and many more. Garcia and Couliau funded the project themselves, and showcased it at numerous film festivals around the world. The acclaimed film has won several awards, including Audience Award for Best Feature at the Urbanworld Film Festival, and the two now need your help to have it shown in theaters. Your donations will go towards to remaining music license fees, artwork, creation, marketing, promoting, and advertising theatrical bookings, and production costs for DVD/Blu-Ray mastering and manufacturing. In tomorrow’s NFL Pro Bowl, Under Armour athletes Arian Foster, Julio Jones, Jason Pierre-Paul and Joe Thomas will be wearing various models from the upcoming Fall/Winter 2013 line. Specifically, the Under Armour Highlight and multiple colorways of the Nitro Icon Low and Nitro Icon Mid will be on display in the star-studded game. The cleats feature a number of attributes that tie in to the Pro Bowl’s location of Hawaii. In detail, a Hawaiian tribal tattoo inspired screen treatment is featured on the upper, while a surfboard graphic, featuring their respective uniform colors AFC (red) and NFC (blue), graces the inner lining. Also, the predominately matte silver upper is inspired by the Pro Bowl MVP trophy and each player’s cleat will feature their regular season uniform colors customized through laces, UA logo and hi-shine chrome plates.
