2012 definitely shaped itself into being a memorable year for sneakers, from the berserk pandemonium that surrounded the “Galaxy” releases, to a possible sighting of the Yeezy jumping over the Jumpman. Honoring the tradition of cork-popping champagne celebrations, this lifestyle version of the LeBron X is made of genuine cork and premium leather. The Air Force 1 Premium in both high and low cuts now has elephant print customization options via Nike iD. You have a choice of materials that include nubuck and canvas and there is a range of colors on offer. Personally, I’d prefer a customization with nubuck. It appears more plush and in fact suits feline prints even more. But to each his own.

The adidas Originals ZX TR Mid gets a couple of new colorways set for a spring / summer release. You’ll be on the dot if you discern 90s styling on these kicks. Kevin Durant’s signature kicks received a lot of attention as the year ended and the trend is all set to continue with the Nike Zoom KD V “Ice Blue”. Navy and orange accents color the “Ice Blue” upper and we will soon see theOklahoma City Thunder sporting these kicks on-court; I mean, it’s only logical that he will wear these sooner rather than later.

The accents mentioned earlier go under the monikers “Squadron Blue” and “Total Orange”. Should release soon. Take a look at the images, how does the sole grab you? Enough traction in it for your liking?
