The Air Jordan 1 White/Red-Black originally released in 1985, taking both the signature sneaker and basketball shoe concept to new heights. Jordan’s popularity as a player paired up with Nike’s marketing push to create a buzz that still resonates today.
1995

Celebrating MJ’s first retirment and coinciding with the shoe’s ten year anniversary, the Air Jordan 1 was reissued in White/Red-Black back in 1995. Retro basketball sneakers were a foreign concept at the time, and thus not embraced. Pairs hit sale racks for incredibly low prices then, but now fetch top dollar now.
2003

The famous makeup also released during the holiday season of 2003 in patent leather form. This pair sported color blocking inspired by the original release, jewel Wings branding, and a silver Jumpman hang tag. All in all, this pair was fairly popular but not a drop day sellout.
In similar fashion, the canvas clad AJKO returned in the same color blocking in 2010.
