Vans debuts an attractive casual footwear model for the ladies; it is the Vans Surf Chauffette and carries the moniker “Sailor’s Delight”. It is a deconstructed look that this canvas sneaker sports with a gradient upper moving from white to red as one goes from the toe to the heel. Laces roped through metal eyelets on the body and the anchor print lining give it the boat effect.

The upper rests on a white sole. Will hit the stores soon, perfect summertime sneakers that kind of hark back to the 60s. But you know as they say, simplicity never goes out of fashion. We’ll let you know the details on these ones soon!

Kings rookie Thomas Robinson has made a couple of appearances in our Kicks On Court column this season with sneakers such as the “Flint Grey” Air Jordan 7 and the “Copper” Foams. The Vans Era “Overspray Pack” brings back the messy look…messy in a neat deliberate sort of way, that actually looks pleasing. It’s the splatter look and Vans hasn’t done too many such designs over the years. It’s the classic Era that has been chosen for this treatment and there are three colorways available –white, pink and black.

The pink and black iterations have specks of yellow and blue while the white one has black and green splattered on it. The pairs retail for $150 each. These sneakers are available now, take a look at the image, am sure you’ll like what you will see.

Kings point guard Isaiah Thomas took to the Barclays Center court in the Reebok Kamikaze II retro last night against the Nets. The White/Black-Green Reebok Kamikaze II retro, which Shawn Kemp made popular in the 90s, will make a return to shelves on January 18th. Props to Isaiah Thomas for debuting not only the Kamikaze II Retro, but also the Answer IVs earlier this season.
