Wow, classy kicks and predictably from New Balance. Or on the other hand you may just say that, ah…New Balance so predictable. Whatever, I like what I see in the Day Tripper collection. It’s a leather, suede, and mesh construction that’s a nod to the 60s when bikers traversed the breadth of America.

The silhouettes used for the pack are the classic New Balance 998 and 996, the former carrying red accents and the latter blue ones. The 996 wears the leather like a smart jacket. Both kicks carry a dash of color on the white midsoles. Available now at select stores, otherwise scheduled for a February release. Check them out.

The Reebok Pump Fury HLS is now available in a new Gravel / Luxe Blue colorway. The upper has been constructed using mesh, leather and foam – the leather in use is the Pump P-50 external leather. These kicks sit on a 3D Ultralite sole. A printed logo on the heel and a speckled outsole complete the picture.

Although these kicks carry a retro look they have been built using technology that is cutting-edge and if you want to ride in comfort, these are available now and yours for a mere $145.

PUMA, for some reason, has been keeping a low profile. But out of the blue, comes news of something that is sure to have folks interested. Puma introduces the BioWeb Elite Fire and Ice pack. Take a look at the images, that itself should suffice to tell y’all what the fuss is about.

We’re talking of a  WebCage upper alongside a molded TPU heel wrap. The technology has evidently been inspired by the spider’s web, that is ultralight and yet has more strength than a steel thread of similar diameter. The flexible exoskeleton on these sneakers makes them lightweight and very flexible.  These are being launched tomorrow – Wednesday 16th.

The Vans OTW 2013 Spring Prelow is out now and costs a mere $90. One look is enough to tell you that this pair is a smart hybrid derived from the Pritchard and the Ludlow. The front consists of navy canvas while the hind portion on the upper is made of woven leather – black woven leather.

Blue rope laces pass through bronzed metal eyelets. The construction rests on a white midsole.

The prelow first caught attention as part of the Vans Surveyor Pack. More iterations expected to come out in a range of materials such as nubuck, synthetic textiles, pig suede, etc. Take a look at the images, can easily fit in with your tastes, na?

The Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals JS P-Letters high top sneakers form a part of the Spring Summer 2013 collection and these carry a bold design to say the least. The sneakers feature bold black lettering on white leather and when the two shoes are placed at a strategic angle you can read the magic words, no not “open sesame”, it’s ADIDAS, neatly divided between the two pieces, ADI on one and DAS on the other.

White laces get threaded through metal eyelets; these are the big daddy bad boys of high tops without having their design go over the top. You’ll love them. We’ll let you know when these arrive at retailers in America.

Russell Westbrook has rocked PE versions of the Jordan Super.Fly and the Jordan Aero Flight for most of this season, yet, in his return home to Los Angeles last night, he brought out one of the sickest Air Jordan 3 colorways we have seen to date in Kicks On Court. To match the Thunder’s uniforms, this never-before-seen Air Jordan 3 features a mainly black base with multiple blue, orange and yellow accents throughout the upper. It is also finished with a white midsole and an orange outsole. No word yet on if these are a player exclusive or future release, but they are more than likely the former.
