When Maryland’s basketball team steps back on the hardwood, their uniforms may feel more military-inspired than what you are used to. Today, Under Armour announced the new Maryland “Black Ops” Uniforms. The Armourlite uniforms are the lightest in the UA stable, and are complemented by matching versions of the UA Spine, Charge BB, and Micro G Torch. Look for the taxi and black ticker-tape laced gear on the Terrapins in the near future.

Not a lot of people remember when the University of Memphis was called Memphis State, but Penny does. Penny Hardaway attended the university when it was still referred to as Memphis State and the upcoming Penny Vs commemorate his college days. On Monday, sneakerheads and Knicks fans converged at Packer Shoes for a chance to pick up the adidas Top Ten 2000 “2WO 1NE” Iman Shumpert PE. Under Armour continues to recruit for their impressive basketball roster with the latest addition of Raymond Felton of the New York Knicks. Averaging 15.8 points and 6.3 assists per game, Felton has been a huge contributor to the success of the Knicks this season. Ray is expected to wear the Under Armour Micro G Torch basketball shoe on the court this season and has agreed to a new multi-year partnership with the brand.
