The Christian Tresser designed Nike Air Max 97 has a worthy predecessor to look up to, the AM 95. That it created an everlasting niche for itself speaks volumes for the designer. The Bullet-train inspired design endorsed by the likes of Michael Johnson has an Air Max unit running along the entire length. It has undergone overhauls though and now we have the iconic silhouette constructed with Engineered Mesh.

In this post we present the Nike Air Max 97 EM “600K” in a navy markup that carries a speckled midsole and tickled laces. There’s a silver variant too, which is more like a faithful retro reproduction. The 600K is an annual Brazilian race Nike has sponsored in recent years.

Nike has opened its second Pivot Point store; the first opened in Brooklyn, New York on December 11 and now another one on the other side of the Pacific, in Tokyo, Japan. To be more specific, this store is located in Shibuya – Japan’s premier center for youth culture.

Here’s the catch. the store will be open till December 24th. It’s a Pop-Up store that is showcasing theNike Lunar Force 1 and the rest of the Family of Force kicks. The name of the store, as you may guess is inspired by the trademark Pivot Point sole of the AF1 kicks. A not-to-be-missed experience for those wishing to be a part of the transition from AF1 to LF1.

The Android Homme Supernova Low “Made in Italy” is yet another presentation crafted overseas and made available to the discerning sneaker lover in the USA. The low cuts give you a choice of four iterations, nero, nero fino, blanco, and rosso.

Fine leather has gone into each construction; Nero Fino sports smooth leather for the upper while the other three have rubbed leather, most likely the inside part of the hide that has been used. Can be yours for $220, available now. Check out the images. Which one’ your pick. It’s Rosso for me.

Android Homme brings to us the Supernova Hiker “Made in Italy”; classy hiking shoes that’ll also do the job they are built for. Excellent quality leather and boot detailing distinguish these hiking boots. And of course, these kicks have been constructed in Italy.

These slip-on square-leather laced boots can be worn easily courtesy a reflective pull-tab. You have a choice of colors, Marino, Naturale, and Nero. The laces are threaded through D-shaped eyelets. The construction rests on a rubber Margom outsole. These can be yours for $280. Take a look at the images, do you like ‘em?

Unlikely that crafted in Italy hikers will go at this reasonable price in the US of A.
