Though killing it on the underground for the better part of three summers, the M-I-crooked letter representer has brought his region and sound to the forefront this year with a Def Jam debut and festival flights. His sneaker game has seen a similar ascent, as documented in this sequel installment of My 5.

Big K.R.I.T.: “I’m not the type of person that buys shoes and puts them up; I buy them to perform in. I performed in the ‘DMP’ 6s at Pitchfork Festival and I stage dived in them to “I Got This”. I was really just going to jump into the crowd, but they wouldn’t let me over and it turned into crowdsurfing. I kept rapping! I was a little nervous but the fans held me down. I was just fist pumping and doing the hook.”

A “Jade” base gives way to elephant print accents, a snakeskin inspired toe box, 3M reflective paneling, and rainbow speckled midsoles. Based off the Trainer/Dunk hybrid collab, these are scheduled to release tonight at 8 PM at Mache Customs.
