It didn’t take Mache long to find inspiration in this year’s Doernbecher Freestyle collection. An Air Jordan 6 Custom takes design cues from the “Pollito” Jimenez Air Jordan 9, getting fly with feather print accents and navy hits.

“White Camo” becomes the latest graphic to grace the Nike Air Foamposite One. Black and red accents set off the blotchy base derived from white and grey tones. Stay tuned to Nice Kicks for better images and an official drop date.

We have seen images of the black/red and received a release date for the “Squadron Blue”, but the Air Jordan 13 “He Got Game” is the pair most sneakerheads are looking forward to concerning MJ’s thirteenth signature. Sporting the iconic hologram, white upper with black suede and leather has been etched in the minds of basketball fans since Michael Jordan wore them on court, and Denzel Washington took them to new heights in the movie “He Got Game”. The Nike and Doernbecher collaboration has yielded a fresh new design and this time it is the creativity of 11-year old Oswaldo Jiminez; though looking at the shoe you’d be forgiven if you thought this to be the work of a qualified adult designer.

Black and gold accenting lights up a white leather upper. Oswaldo’s artistry on this limited edition pair includes a glod and black mudguard with a feather design; his lucky number 17 appears on the back heel. Everything rests on an icy blue translucent outsole, a design first for the Air Jordan 9.

This pair from the Doernbecher Freestyle Collection is another in a long list of kicks released collaboratively by the foundation. The sales from these shoes have yielded around $ 4 million, the proceeds going to the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.

These kicks release November 30th.
