Tonight marks the return of what some would call the greatest sport on the planet, Football. Starting off the season, America will be greeted by a full out brawl between the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys. While on the field, the players of each team will be wearing Nike’s next-generation NFL uniforms, the NFL Nike Elite 51 Uniform. Nike is pushing you to literally walk on the wild side with a new set of leopard inspired Nike Blazers. The first model features a more traditional leopard print over a gold leaf base using leather gold leaf over the lace stays and Nike Swoosh to accent the brownish hue. The second pair is based in black with the leopard spots in grey. Detailing includes black over the Nike Swoosh, lace stays, and heel tab. For both pair, Nike uses the vulcanized sole, an asset to the classic design. Look for the Nike WMNS Blazer “Leopard” Pack to hit select retailers in December.

Wolf grey has made its way through the Nike product line and has recently made a stop on the Nike Air Max 95. Skipping the usual gradient on the side panel, Nike instead alternates between wolf grey and dark grey to create a similar effect. White plays a very minimal role on the silhouette and could possible be missed if you don’t really pay attention to the tongue branding. Though the grey may be overbearing for some, the resurgence over the midsole and outsole compliment the alternating side panels. Those looking to grab this Nike Air Max 95 “Wolf Grey” stateside should be able to come October.

The Max 100 Project is officially underway and the first five silhouettes have been revealed. A collaborative project between retailer Social Status, Nike, and illustrator and designer Matt Stevens, the shoes each represent an illustration from Matt Stevens in his MAX100 book. Each pair will go to auction to benefit Charlotte, North Carolina-based charities, and will be paired with a signed wooden box set including artwork and MAX100 book, as well as the shoe. Each Air Max 1 will be auctioned off starting at $350, at noon on September 15th at 1519 central ave. in Charlotte, NC and also on eBay.
