The Nike Lebron X is finally out today and will sell not for the previously thought $300 but a tad less, only $270. Even this price is sufficient to place it up there in the pantheon of expensive sneakers.

Nike is releasing two versions, one is the “technology embedded shoe” retailing at the price mentioned above. This, of course, is not every sneaker lovers cup of cappuccino even though there will be enough sneakerheads willing to go into debt to lay their grubby mitts on the LeBron X. The other version which will sell sans the sensor technology will retail for a much more affordable $180. So, if you’re okay with your shoe not talking to your smartphone then you can consider going for the cheaper version.
