Puma Classic Takumi suede low tops from Puma Japan are the company’s take on classic basketball sneakers from the 80s. This latest edition to the Takumi edition follows the Ralph Sampson and Sky II hightops that were introduced earlier this year. Takumi, BTW, means artisan in Japanese and this line of kicks is inspired by the centuries old artisan techniques used for shoe-making in Japan.

The Takumis will be available from September in two colorways – red/black and black/royal. These aesthetically crafted sneakers feature suede and leather on the upper and inner lining, respectively. The thick and narrow white rubber sole has a ribbed design at the front and back. Both colorways feature brand text in white and black shoelaces.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low in gold and white will be available from the end of this month, i.e. from 31st August onward. The kicks have been designed to commemorate the U.S.A’s gold medal haul at the just concluded London Olympics and also to pay homage to past Olympians who brought home a lot of precious metal.

Premium white leather with specks of gold fills the lateral side which also carries a golden Swoosh. The tongue, heel cushion, and liner are in gold as well. The color scheme is inverted on the medial side with the leather in gold and the Swoosh in white. The laces are white splattered with gold specks and so is the midsole.

Each shoe gets its own multicolored detachable ribbon to be attached to the heel.

The Reebok Classics concert at Pure Night Club in Caesar’s Palace held yesterday night was a high-voltage act featuring Swizz Beatz, Rick Ross, Tyga and Pusha T. The honor of performing the closing act went to Ricky Rozay.

Acclaimed magician David Copperfield put in a special appearance at the event prompting Rozay to do a rendition of “Black Magic”. DJ Runna was in control of the music.

Tyga set the tune for things to follow when he took to the stage wearing Reebok Ex-o-fit’s and spat out crowd favorites like“Faded” and “Rack City”. He was followed by Swizz wearing custom Twilight Zone Pumps.

The concert was a follow-up to the press conference featuring Swizz Beatz, Rick Ross, Tyga, Allen Iverson and Dominique Wilkins held earlier in the day.
