The Penny signature line has been on display in our Kicks On Court column all season long, and it seems as if a few of our Kicks On Court Champion nominees have connected even more with this classic shoe line in the 2012 NBA Playoffs. In yesterday’s games, we spotted DeJuan Blair, Delonte West and Earl Clark wearing Penny’s shoes or variations derived from his line. In detail, Magic forward Earl Clark took to the court in the “Orlando” Nike Air Max Penny I, while Spurs forward DeJuan Blair played in the white/black Nike Zoom Rookie. Lastly, Delonte West finished the season off in the “Orlando” Nike Air Flight One, a shoe that released this past February. Who brought the best Pennys to the court in yesterday’s game? Jordan Brand basically designs most of its sneakers using premium leather as the primary element but not with the latest release of the Air Jordan 1 Phat that merges two different materials. This classic-toned sneaker that continues to patronize the original Jordan Wings emblem is now up in black/purple combination.

Despite the vast number of evolving color schemes and matches, this Air Jordan 1 Phat prefers to be basic and simple by having the upper dressed up in black pebbled leather allowing the midpanel and collar wear purple Ripstop nylon for a livelier appeal. It has the Jordan Wings insignia appear in purple along the quarter panel as the other remaining small details such as Jumpman logo on the tongue and shoe lace come into view in the same purple scheme.

The Swoosh however, which is supposed to be an out-of-place attribute prompts in a less admirable grey tone that actually matches up with the sole unit. As a member of the Fall 2012 collection, this Air Jordan 1 Phat is set to drop later this year.

This is my favorite colorway of the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Low. Lush Teal has been featured on many Nike silhouettes lately. I really liked performance testing the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011, and I would like to check these out in this color scheme.
