Following their mall-based retail opening in New Jersey, Converse recently opened its doors in Beijing, China. The specialty store, located at the Sanlitun mall, celebrates the brand’s heritage in sport and rock ‘n roll, offering a diverse assortment of footwear and apparel. National celebrities, including pop star Fu Xinbo, model Bonnie Chen, and designer Vega Wang, were there to celebrate the grand opening event.

Grizzlies guard Gilbert Arenas obviously has a few more selling points to show before the Kicks On Court Champion award is given out. In last night’s Game 4 of the Clippers vs. Grizzlies matchup, our Kicks On Court column spotted Arenas in the “Lightning” Air Jordan 4, a shoe that released during the summer of 2006 along with the “Thunder” Air Jordan 4. Detailed photos are not available at the time, but we do have a couple of shots of Arenas in these below.
