We recently got a glimpse of the “Trail Pack” – the latest collaboration between Saucony and New Jersey-based Packer Shoes. Although the Grid 9000 was better known in the mid-90s for its running stability and support, the “Trail Pack” brings a lifestyle aesthetic to the shoe with two fresh colorways on top of a versatile mix of materials. The first colorway presents a military-inspired olive green and safety orange motif, while the second colorway offers a tech-inspired theme with purple and pink hits on a beige base. Both pairs feature suede and mesh uppers with ballistic and ripstop accents and sit on cushioned midsoles for a comfortable and durable ride. The “Trail Pack” will first release at Packer Shoes, in-store and online, on Friday, May 4th, and then will be rolled out to select retailers in the U.S. and Europe. Check out more pictures after the jump and let us know what you think.
