From the breathable mesh material to the overlays and down to the Zoom soles, the materials are all the same as with the former releases of the KD4. However, the over strap that keeps the laces in check now has a shimmery look in black with an orange Swoosh logo giving it a bit more eye catching look.

The sole is cushioned with ‘Lunarlon’, a cushioning technology developed by the Nike research team by studying how the astronauts walked or rather ‘bounded’ around the moon as if they were doing it on marshmallows. This technology is 30% lighter than their standard Phylon foams and is enclosed with Phylite or Phylon to give it more stability. This revision to the sole design gives it more dissipation in impact, thus lessening the chances of injury due to impact while doing tricks on your skateboards.

This new edition of their Nike Blazer SB Mid LR comes in three new colorways: Purple, Blue and Red all in suede material. Check them out as they just came out in Nike Stores in the UK.
