  • Derrick Rose Shares His Travel Necessities
By on November 8th, 2011 | No Comments Comments

Derrick Rose’s life on the court is well documented (see: Sportscenter), but what he’s up to off the court or on the road is a little less known. The MVP and adidas front man gives us a glimpse into his life by detailing the contents of his travel bag. Reading material like the Bible, Eastbay, and a Chinese dictionary are stowed, as are the likes of Skittles, Skull Candy headphones, and of course the adiZero Rose 2.

Nike LeBron 9 "Christmas" Another Look

Be nice, avoid coal, and maybe you’ll land the Nike LeBron 9 “Christmas” this holiday season. Another look at this upcoming release sees a candy red upper, green accents, and sparkling outsole. Red laces serve as an alternate appeasing those not feeling the green. While the pair pictured is from the GS run, this should serve as a good idea of what to expect. Are these on your radar? Tell us in the comment section.

    DC Boost NVRBRKN Unboxing

Gearing more towards trainer than skate shoe, the DC Boost looks to highlight life off the board while introducing the “NVRBRKN” concept. A heavy glass case complete with velvet lining packages this 1 of 7 pair while playing upon the theme that like the case, we are all fragile and strong at the same time. Not one to quit and also not for sale, this limited makeup sets hearty black nubuck over dense grey mesh. Red accents and speckled midsoles add to the everyday contrast of performance and personality. Comfort drives fashion rather than compromising for a fit that’s functional and foot friendly. A 7-point star logo reinterprets the seven-letter labeld collection, representing a competitive attitude and original form despite a fracture of point.
