    Top 11 Air Jordan 11s

What’s an 11/11/11 without an Air Jordan 11 themed feature (at 11:11AM EST might we add)? We don’t know because we’ve never been here; this is a first. However, our Nice Kicks staff put together a list of the top 11 Air Jordan 11s. Will the “Concord” Air Jordan 11 be a consensus #1 pick? Do any of the IE colorways belong in the top 10? Check out our 11.11.11: The 11 Best Air Jordan 11s, and let us know your favorite in voting poll below.

The Air Jordan 11 Low IE will always live in the shadow of the firs released Air Jordan 11 mid top model, but sometimes this silhouette just flat out gets overlooked. We made sure to include an IE on this list and looked no further than the original colorway. It was actually one of the most underrated releases of the year for Jordan Brand.

During 2011 All-Star weekend this past February, Jordan Brand held a party in which an attendee was spotted in this one-of-a-kind Air Jordan 11. At a first glance, you may think somebody was blessed with an early pair of “Concord” Air Jordan 11s; however, with a closer look, you’ll see that the mudguard has been swapped from patent leather to carbon fiber. Would you like to see Jordan Brand use carbon fiber more?

  • Kicks On Court: Carrier Classic Recap
By on November 13th, 2011 | No Comments Comments

    Kicks On Court

Last night, UNC and the Michigan State Spartans made history in their home opener of the 2011-2012 NCAA season. Both teams took part in the Quicken Loans Carrier Classic, a college basketball game played on the deck of a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier dubbed the USS Carl Vinson. Nike and Jordan Brand created sneakers specifically designed for this game in the form of the Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 and Jordan 8.0. However, in addition to these Carrier Classic kicks, players on both sides rocked an abundance of Jordan heat. Specifically, MSU senior forward Draymond Green sported the “Cool Grey” Air Jordan 11 to coincide with the Spartans’ grey-based camouflage jerseys. As for the Tar Heels, John Henson and Dexter Strickland wore the Air Jordan 13 White/Neutral Grey-University Blue and the “Wolf Grey” Air Jordan 5, respectively. Check out these kicks, plus others, in our Kicks On Court: Carrier Classic Recap.
