This November, adidas is going the distance with their New York Marathon collection. Inspired by 9-time champion Grete Waitz, three shoes feature Norway-inspired colorways with 100% of profits benefiting her AKTIV Against Cancer Foundation. All three makeups will be available at the brand’s marathon booth and sport performance store in SoHo.

The Nike Lunar Macleay is the latest Nike Sportswear model to get a makeover. Taking its lead from the Nike ACG archives, this particular pair features combination of rugged materials in a minimalist silhouette. Grey suede can be seen draped throughout much of this particular pair’s upper with pink accents giving contrast to the tongue, laces, inner liner, outsole and branding. Jordan Brand recently unleashed the most innovative basketball silhouette ever, the Air Jordan 8.0 which officially dropped on October 22^nd. The first colorway that was presented is the white/metallic silver/varsity red combo featuring a slimmed down stance with updated technology present on the sole unit. The side panel is fused with Flywire threading with reinforced crisscross straps. Aside from this pack, there also comes another color-up that just surfaced on eBay, the combination of black/red/flint grey/white. Let’s take a closer look on this Air Jordan 8.0 and scrutinize each of the details.

As for the toe area, flint grey is being utilized with black trimming on the base. The heel is done up in ribbed pattern with a heel pull tab that comes in varsity blue ring form. It has a reinvented tongue logo that depicts the Jumpman and a basket plus ball in red, strap buckles in red, black shoe laces, and midsole that is made of white and flint grey with splattered prints in black and red. Similar splattered design appears on the outsole with red Jumpman and varsity blue accent over black surface.

Since a retro release, many sneakerheads today are anticipating for this latest release.

As far as classic Nike silhouettes go, few top the Air max 95. The oft-retroed runner has been on a steady release schedule for the past few years, dropping various OG and new looks. The next version, however, may be the most shocking.

Taking the original silhouette and giving it the Hyperfuse treatment, Nike created the Air Max 95 360. As you’ll recall, the Air Max 1 and Air Max 90 have both already been revamped, but each relied on its original tooling. For this new 95, the ever-popular full-length Max Air unit has been slid underneath. These two colorways will be some of the first to release come 2012, and wear Dark Grey/Volt and Wolf Grey/Vivid Orange, respectively. Expect even more re-hashes to make their way to shelves, and Nice Kicks, soon.
