For winter, the Star Chevron has cooked up two Straight Shooter Spec Hi First String releases. Featuring a Lunarlon footbed for maximum comfort, this shoe also utilized a rubber toe and forefoot cover and unique midfoot accent. Both the Burgundy and Black/Castle colorways feature canvas accents, relying on leather and suede, respectively, for their uppers. Limited in count, both are landing in stores now.

Earlier this month, we saw the release of the Nike SB Dunk High “Cigar”, a Nike SB quickstrike that garnered plenty of attention from sneakerheads and skate enthusiasts. Today, we get an early look at a new Nike SB Stefan Janoski that sports a similar look. This pair features a completely tonal-brown suede upper with a lighter shade covering the front three quarters of the shoe and a darker shade covering the back heel panel. The same dark shade can also be seen on the inner liner, which is matched on the midsole piping and side panel Swoosh. This pair is finally finished off with an all-white midsole that is also carried through on the white laces. With winter around the corner, will this be a pair you add to your rotation?

Jordan Brand released multiple colorways of their retro-turned-performance Air Jordan 2.0 during the spring/summer; however, the holiday season will see the introduction of the Air Jordan 8.0, a performance take on MJ’s eighth signature model. This particular pair features a mainly white colored upper comprised of pebbled leather, patent leather and Nike’s beloved Flywire. Varsity red hints appear in the form of the midfoot X-strap, the midsole, the heel tab and the tongue border. Lastly, a stealth colored tongue and inner lining provide additional contrast. Until, Jordan Brand brings back the Air Jordan 8 in multiple colorways, the Air Jordan 8.0 is a very nice performance sneaker that incorporates characteristics of one of our favorite models.

While we are generally big fans of seeing the results of companies coming together for a collaborative effort on a single sneaker, sometimes things get out of hand when too many companies together to work on a sneaker at the same time. We can only imagine what things are like in the drawing room while they are creating a sneaker like this because there has got to be so many ideas swarming around all at once. Despite all of the different brands involved in this sneaker, it still comes off looking nice and clean and not overdone. It is a nice color of Navy and also features some really nice golden yellow suede and mesh sections.
