    Jordan 6 Rings "Carbon Fiber"

Carbon fiber covered and built from classic Js, the newest 6 Rings is reminiscent of a finely tuned sports car. Sitting atop a white midsole and Medium Grey outsole, the upper relies on the aforementioned carbon fiber mudguard to stand out. Mesh lays over the midfoot and just like the Air Jordan 8, a chenille Jumpman patch is perched atop the tongue. This one is available now at select retailers, including online and by phone at Politics.

  • Celebrity Rewind: Kanye Wears Air Jordan 7 “Raptors” in “All Falls Down”
By on September 9th, 2011 | No Comments Comments

We’re all self-conscious, he was just the first to admit it. In 2004, Kanye West saved some of the good beats for himself for his debut album, The College Dropout. The album’s third single saw Yeezy tackling insecurity and materialism at his flyest, sporting his staple pink Polo and a pair of the Air Jordan 7 “Raptor” retros. The airport-set, first person perspective music video helped Kanye’s career takeoff as an artist and as a creative mind.

The Stacey Dash co-starring clip also provided style inspiration for one of Kanye’s protégés. Big Sean has stated time and time again his love for the “Raptors”, and has also given credit to Ye for adding to his passion for the sneaker. Dreams do come true as the two teamed up earlier this week for the “Marvin & Chardonnay” video.
