I’ve always been a fan of Nike’s Foamposite model line, with it’s alien-like design, whatever color combinations that you can ever imagine could always fit the shoe’s style. The Electric Green/Black Nike Air Foamposite One surely made a huge sale since itsreleased way back in March. Nike’s predictive marketing strategy of course, is they would release a newer version 2 months later, by just simply switching the body colors. Images shown has been making its rounds all over the web and has raised interests to many. The upper part retains its original black with the touch of electric green highlights on the heel tab, branding and tongue. The bottom is highlighted with the outsole electric green,’nuff contrast needed for the design. Nike has not announced any release date for this yet, but I bet it’s not gonna be later this year.

Nike pulled Charles Barkley’s 1994 signature shoe from their vault and innovat it into this Air Max Barkley 2012. The kick feature the vintage looks and feel of the Air Max 2 CB ‘94, but the technical aspects has been changed. The upper is covered with a hyperfused synthetic material, while the sole has more aggressive design. Three colorways will be introduced first to the sneaker market on spring of 2012. The Rastafari movement or simply Rasta has widely influenced not only the ideologists but even music, and now it inspires sneakers. Known label, Supra has adopted the Rasta notion in creating the next collection called the Rasta Pack.

Supra was motivated to do the Rasta Pack to commemorate the death of a great Rastafarian icon, Bob Marley, who died in 1981 due to skin cancer. Since Bob Marley introduced Rasta to reggae music, he deserves this special selection of Supra kicks that includes the high and low top silhouettes. Both shoes come in uniform details composed of tan hemp upper with leather embellishment on the heel and collar flaunting the Rasta flag-inspired colors – red, yellow, and green. Supra label appears on the tongue with another Supra button along the heel and midsole rear. The sole used on these shoes are both sticky gums while the laces are available in sets of red, yellow, and green for your own personal preference.
