During winter last year, Nike launched a hybrid model that is based on the Air Force 1 High. Adding the Duckboot treatment to the shoe, it resulted to a more durable and wet-free boot sneaker designed to sustain in cold weather condition. As early as now, Nike has forecasted what to expect in the upcoming winter season so the original Nike Air Force 1 High – Duckboot has received an updated treatment.

Using the same silhouette, the AF1 High, this boot sneaker wears a water-proof toe box leaving the rest of the upper in leather and wool construction. The Swoosh has a durable spot along the side panel whereas the eyelets that come in bronze plus the D-rings compel a more sturdy closure. To keep the foot warm, wool inner lining has been incorporated, and to increase traction, the gum rubber sole features multiple teeth-like grooves.

Coming up this Fall 2011 are two colorways of the Nike Air Force 1 High – Duckboot – black/beige and brown/charcoal.

Kevin Durant has won Nike scoring title for two years in a row now and in the light of that Nike has given him a new special color way of his Zoom KD. This year not only did they change the shoes color way, they also made adjustments to the shoes design.
