  • Autopsy of the Nike Dunk Pro SB – Video
By on November 21st, 2010 | No Comments Comments

Throughout skateboarding’s history, Nike SB kicks have always been part of it. Words from our source:

“Since the Nike Dunk initially launched in 1985, very few modifications have been done to it. Other than the insertion of a padded tongue and a Nike Zoom Air-sole unit in the heel that Nike SB gave it in 2002, most changes have been minor. But with the ten year anniversary of Nike SB approaching, the brand set out to give the shoe a makeover and improve on its already impeccable lineage: giving it a better gripping outsole; more board feel with better cushioning; improving fit and eliminating pressure points. The Dunk Pro SB will be available January 2011. For more info about the Dunk Pro SB visit Nikeskateboarding.com this December.”

  • Nike Air Diamond Turf Max 96 White/Varsity Red: The Red hot arrival
By on November 21st, 2010 | No Comments Comments

Nike Air Diamond Turf Max 96 White/Varsity Red

Gone are those days when shoe design colors used to reflect only one single mood.  The time has changed, and people are looking for something that can reflect not one, but multiple moods in the shoe colorways.   Earlier we saw that the classic color combinations only reflect the vintage mood, whereas the funky color combinations reflect the chilling out attitude.  Now, people are expecting shoes designed in a manner that can reflect both these two distinct moods simultaneously.  It is a tough one to execute, and you will  not believe the coexistence of these two different styluses until you see Nike Air Diamond Turf Max 96 White/Varsity Red. In this shoe collection, both the structure and color combination reflect the two separate senses of styles.Take the structure; it is different from the conventional sneakers.

Conventional sneakers used to have a somewhat uniformity in structuring, and in this collection, the structural parts are not uniform with each other.  This structural design marks the mood for breaking the conventional ideas, and hence truly symbolizes the carefree attitude. In contrast, the color combination in Nike Air Diamond Turf Max 96 White/Varsity Red sticks to the conservative pattern.  This shoe reflects the classical mood as well, and you will get the classical mood in the White and Red color contrasts. To suit the White base, the tongue is colored in Black, and strap like arrangement features on the tongue.  Streaks of Sporty red coming from the Black sole spreads all over the White Base, and this color marks the logo of Nike as well in different parts of the shoe.

  • Jordan V.2 Grown Black/Black: Nothing but quality
By on November 21st, 2010 | No Comments Comments

Jordan V.2 Grown Black/BlackAchieving success and to retain them are two completely different things.  For the moment, you can achieve success by offering something different, but the challenge begins when you are to maintain them.  This is of considerable significance in the field of creativity called shoe designing.  The same went true for Air Jordon collections from Nike.  When this collection was launched for the first time, it used to be the convention sneakers.  But as time progressed, and a number of competitors came into the sneaker business, they felt the need to shift the base design.  Rather than limiting Air Jordon within the sneaker genre, they preferred to shift Air Jordon signature stylus in the other versions like Moccasins.

This way the design was diversified, and hence lesser were the chances for getting the design monotonous. A number of times Nike did this with Air Jordon versions and Jordan V.2 Grown Black/Black is classic example of their design diversification.  In this collection, you will get the blending of Air Jordon features with those of the original Moccasins. This shoe is completely made in highest quality leather, and Black is the only color they have chosen.  Variety in material has been the striking feature for the Nike leather shoes, and here you will get different types of leather derivatives as the material of construction. In addition, for the perforation purpose, they have chosen cotton material for this collection. In Jordan V.2 Grown Black/Black collection, you will get the exact quality blending between the classical sneaker and Moccasins.
