Ah, the hybrid. It can be pulled off so well and it also has the potential to become one of the worst disasters ever seen in the sneaker world, sometimes being enough to actual offend sneakerheads. We have seen a great deal of both over the years and for every time that we get a look at a good looking hybrid, there is an equally bad one following in its track to spoil the fun for everyone.Recently, a new hybrid model was released that was to the pleasure of just about everyone. This was the new Nike Air Force 1 Foamposite and it came in a silver and black colorway.Today we are going to take a look at a new version of the shoe in all black.

This all black will make use of the same Foamposite material as its cousin but will also feature the beloved all black form that is so commonly seen on Foamposite sneakers.

Nike SB Zoom Bruin University Blue/Neutral Gray/White
Most of you should remember last week when we took a look at the new Air Jordan For The Love Of The Game pack, which most of you thought to be very nice and well put together.A lot of you really liked the colorway, which is nothing new, but university blue and white always seem to do well when they are placed together.Today we are going to take a look at a new shoe from Nike, which isn’t a part of the For The Love Of The Game pack, but its colorway might suggest that it is.This is the new Nike SB Zoom Bruin in a University Blue and White colorway.

The upper will be predominantly university blue and made out of suede. This looks great against the neutral gray swoosh and while sitting atop the white vulcanized midsole. These ones should be hitting stores very soon.

    Nike Possession Justified Black/Red
For most sneakerheads their ultimate in sneakers, sometimes referred to as their holy grails are a pair of rare retro sneakers. While these have to be excellent shoes or else they wouldn’t be so coveted, others might argue that people seeking out these sneakers are stuck in the past just a bit. While we don’t know which one of these lines of thinking is correct, we can say that we enjoy seeing nice new models of sneakers just as much as we enjoy seeing the retro sneakers release.Today we are going to be taking a look at a brand new model, this is the new Nike Possession Justified in this black and red colorway.

These shoes although new take their inspiration of shoes from the past. They have a decidedly classic basketball shoe look to them which sits atop a sort of Chuck Taylor like sole that is black.

  • Nike Zoom Kobe V “Ink”
By on August 23rd, 2010 | No Comments Comments

I just absolutely love the Nike Zoom Kobe V. Most of my love for the sneaker comes from the outstanding colorways Nike uses on Kobe Bryant’s signature sneaker. However if you’re still on the fence about the Nike Zoom Kobe V, take a look at this latest Nike Zoom Kobe V. This Nike Zoom Kobe V is dubbed “Ink”, which clearly comes from the colorway. The best thing about this colorway is that it could go with or without Lakers gear.

Ink purple is used on most of the sneaker. A glossy finish is used on the mid-panels, toe box and the very top of the tongue. A matte finish is put into use on the lace panels and toe area. Black covers the inner lining, shoe laces and the midsole. Metallic silver appears on the Nike swoosh, tongue tag and the outsole. I just can’t say enough about this Nike Zoom Kobe V. It’s just so nice. These are expected to drop this November, so keep it here for official release info. Check out more images after the jump.

  • Jordan CP3.IV – White/Orion Blue/Black
By on August 23rd, 2010 | No Comments Comments

We have already seen a peek at some of the biggest signature models. We have already seen the latest additions to the signature lines of both LeBron James and Kobe Bryant with Nike. Jordan Brand has showed off a few signature models this summer, but Nike is obviously on top. Well Jordan Brand comes out with the latest addition to the Chris Paul’s signature line. Take a look at this Jordan CP3.IV as it comes in a White/Orion Blue/Black colorway. The design of Chris Paul’s fourth signature sneaker is different from his third. This lower cut model uses white on the upper, tongue and the outsole. Black covers areas such as the shoe laces, collar area, tongue label, midsole and the tiny Jumpman on the heel area. The only color placed on the sneaker is Orion blue, which appears on the inner lining and lace holders. How do you like Chris Paul’s fourth signature model? Is this the best one yet? These are expected to release sometime in 2011, so keep it here for updates.
