  • Slam Jam x Asics Gel Lyte III
By on July 20th, 2010 | No Comments Comments

Asics just won’t stop from fulfilling its tradition of making collaborations with various sneaker shops that are European. In this case, we will make Italy’s Slam Jam as the primary example. Together with Asics, they were able to create a color blocked pair that is called this Asics Gel Lyte III. We have all seen together the first release of this collaboration during the early part of July. But now we are taking a second look at it, with all its truer colors.

With broad daylight all on these sneakers, we see some light-grey and white uppers. We also see some sick red gradient on the midsole. The collaboration of Slam Jam with sneaker leaders in the past includes Nike Air Force 1. It has been a huge hit too. And with this upcoming Gel Lyte III, we also see a matching pair of socks that perfectly go with the sneakers.

  • Hanon x Reebok Stomper VCMP
By on July 20th, 2010 | No Comments Comments

The entire design and concept of the Reebok Alien Stomper had its debut in the 1986 Aliens sequel made by Ridley Scott. Hence, it is just as fitting to see it pop up in a sci fi theme of its own. The Visual Countermeasures Project was built as a response to the increasing number of CCTVs watching around the city streets of UK along with the rest of the other businesses.

With this Hanon x Reebok Stomper collaboration, these sneakers offer a black upper in 3M scotchlite reflecting the not so clear future of such a society living under surveillance. You may have already seen these back a few months ago with just news of very limited run in 60 pairs. But recently, they have once again popped at Atmos, a Japanese Sneaker specialist. So stick with us if you need more news about these sneakers. We will definitely keep you posted!

  • Nike Air Python AG
By on July 20th, 2010 | No Comments Comments

The Nike Air Python was first released in 1987 after the introduction of the Air Jordan II in the previous year. They share similar designs and the only difference is that the other one used snakeskin leather for its tongue and uppers. This Air Python is not at all shy with using this kind of material as its snake skin wraps around the heel and placed on top of the upper quarter span. It is made out of premium quality materials that are mixed with a design that is totally jawdropping.

In fact, back then, this shoe surely turned heads during the time of Nike Air Force and the rising of the Nike Flight. But not like the Air Jordan line, this Nike Air Python really stood out from the entire pack. This also has never seen a retro and is headed its way to celebrate its 23 years in existence.

  • Nike Air Max 1 ACG, Black, Velvet Brown
By on July 20th, 2010 | No Comments Comments

Nike ACG and the Nike Air Max have definitely crossed paths before but have you seen something like this? Check out this Nike Air Max 1 ACG which is in the form of Nike Air Max 1 but comes with an ACG logo stamped right on the heel and its insole. On the tongue, we can see an ACG x Air Max label.

The color for its uppers are in velvet brown and black. These are both strong solid color blocks that are perfect to be worn for outdoors. What makes it interesting is its shoe laces that are very colorful. The traction stays the same as from the original Air Max 1. It then makes this shoe a stable one for any kind of condition. So what do you think of this collaboration? Would this make a strong sense of appeal to many sneaker fans out there? Does this really have what it takes to be considered a unique collaboration?

    Air Jordan 1 Retro High Chocolate/Velvet Brown/Sage/Garnet
Seeing as how it was the first Air Jordan ever to be released and worn by Michael Jordan, we have seen the Air Jordan 1 in an extremely high amount of different versions and colorways over the years.Usually these colorways are bright and vibrant, just the type of thing that you would expect to see on the basketball court. That is all well and good, but with all of the bright and vibrant colors, it makes it all the more special when they release a shoe with darker colors like this one and still have it look good.

This new Air Jordan 1 Retro high will be made of a chocolate, velvet brown, sage and garnet colorway. It will be releasing as part of the Fall 2010 Collection which is a good move as these would definitely make much better fall sneakers than they would make summer sneakers.

  • Air Jordan 1 Retro High – Chocolate/Velvet Brown/Sage/Garnet
By on July 20th, 2010 | No Comments Comments

There’s no surprise that the latest colorways of the Air Jordan have been disliked. I haven’t been a fan of the Air Jordan 1 lately, and most sneakerheads feel the same way. Well this latest colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High will just add more negative comments to a legendary and classic sneaker. This Air Jordan 1 Retro High comes in a Chocolate/Velvet Brown/Sage/Garnet colorway.

The sneaker features a chocolate upper, which is mostly constructed of leather. Velvet brown covers the toe box, midfoot, and the collar area. Garnet appears on the Nike swoosh, Jordan wings logo, and the Jumpman on the tongue tag. Sage is seen on the shoe laces, tongue tag, midsole stitching, and the outsole. If you’re looking forward to these, expect a release sometime this August.
