  • Converse SICKS

It was just recent when we featured the two brand new sneakers meant for basketball which include the Star Player EVO and the Free Agent. Both will be introduced to the market by fall of 2010. And this will also be with the Converse SICKS – perfectly made for the basketball season.

This Converse SICKS has full length Converse Balls Technology cushion system that has a silhouette quite similar to the already mentioned Star Player EVO. To add up to the cushioning, this special sneaker also has some traction as it has some updated and redesigned tread of outsole.

You can surely get to spot for this particular black-red Converse SICKS at selected Converse retailers’ stores. Cool, isn’t it? I personally love the design of these and it is good to know that Converse is doing some efforts again on coming up with Basketball sneakers – that are not just great in looks but also high in performance.

  • Toy Story 3

Around 3 years ago, Nike was able to release a series of sneakers inspired by the Disney Pixar animated characters of Toy Story. It was not formally considered as a collaboration with the said film studio but it truly borrowed all its features, colors and materials from the characters like Buzz Lightyear or Woody.

Now that Toy Story 3 is out, Adidas will formally team up with the filmmakers to come up with the latest series of the kids shoes. This time the design is officially licensed but of course amongst sneaker fans of Nike and Adidas, there would of course be some points of comparison and argument.

After seeing these comparison photos, what would you prefer is a better design? Of course, if you are not so much of an Adidas fan, then you definitely like the Nike design better. However, I think that Adidas being an official collaborator makes a huge difference.

Just a few weeks ago, you have seen a batch of Jordan models which include the Jordan Carmichael, the Jordan Take Flight and the Jordan OI School IV. Now here is the second colorway for the Jordan Take Flight that was seen online.

Actually, it seems that this is the most accepted and admired Jordan model amongst the new ones. It really renders something different from the brand. It has distinct aspects of full length, the 360 Air Sole Unit, the high ankle construction, the multi textured base – all these make the sneakers very intriguing. It also has block-like pillars that cover the split.

So are you also one of the many people who is impressed with these sneakers? If you are, then you better start searching for a size for yourself. For sure, these sneakers would always be sold out especially with its color combination of black and varsity red that rocks.

This is the most recent addition to the lifestyle sneakers collection of the Jordan Brand. This is the Jordan V.2 Grown. It is lightweight and much slimmer rendition of the Jordan Campus Chukka that was introduced last summer.

These sneakers have wolf grey and black-white uppers in canvas material. It also has black-white suede uppers. The laces are all hidden by its lace placket and are fairly unimportant with its elastic gusset that makes a slip on effect. If these sneakers have caught your attention, then you must really look forward to these when it gets released by July. This will happen at selected retailers of JB.

However, if you just cannot wait to have any of these, then you can check out the online store of Concepts. These definitely deserve to be a part of your sneaker collection that you would boast of to all your friends and team mates.
