This is not the first time for New Balance to inspire its shoes with animation characters like what it did with the CM1500. This model’s new colorways were influenced by Japanese animation, specifically from Kid Robot for the Grey/Pink/Black colorway and Stash for the Blue colorway.

The faultlessly colored Kid Robot personification has a solid Grey leather base with perforated Grey toe area and a Black mid and heel panels. A potion of the mid-section has a Black mesh insertion for breath ability purpose. Labels such as the “N” logo appears Black with White border, the 1500 in Orange embroidery, and the “NB” logo in Pink embroidery that takes a great match from the upper’s visible stitching. A White-based sole shows up some Pink, Orange, and Black details.

For the Stash-inspired CM1500, a Blue nubuck makes up the whole upper except for the White overlay that comes along the midfoot and toebox. It was complemented with the same White sole but with Grey, Blue, and Navy accents.
