  • Nike SB Zoom P-Rod III – Cinco De Mayo
By on April 5th, 2010 | No Comments Comments

Nike SB Zoom P Rod III Cinco De Mayo
One historic event will be commemorated by the Mexicans primarily in the state of Puebla, Mexico on the fifth of May in recognition of the Mexican army’s unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862.

With this regards, Nike has chosen Mexican-American professional skateboarder, Paul Rodriguez to be the celebration’s host for the Nike sneaker lineup, thus a SB Zoom P-Rod III was given some Mexican-inspired touches to pay tribute to this significant occasion.

Obviously, this shoe wears a tricolor scheme that resembles the Mexican flag. The suede upper comes in Green with quilted heel panel, a White leather Swoosh, and Red accents that were particularly shown on the eyelets, Nike SB rear label, leather fragment on the heel, and liner underneath the tongue.

The sole also represents the country’s official banner with the White midsole and Red/Green Zoom Air outsole. Paul Rodriguez’s signature appears on the tongue for additional identity.

The Cinco De Mayo tribute SB is now available at West NYC.

So far in 2010, we have seen many Nike Dunks. Most have featured loud colorways, which some people don’t like. Well for those same people, Nike has something real special for you. He we get a look at a new Nike Dunk Low CL. The shoe comes with a sweet look, as the colorway is Black/White/Cool Mint.

The sneaker uses a very interesting material. Black canvas is used on most of the sneaker, including the uppers and toe. Also featuring black is the outsole and lace holders. White is put into use on the Nike Swoosh, tongue tag, shoe laces, and midsole. To add a spark to the simple sneaker, Cool Mint is placed on the inner lining, tongue tag, and heel Nike branding. • Nike Air Max 95 – Slate

We just got a look at Comet Air Max 95s which everyone just loved. Well heres another pair of Air Max 95s to go along with the Comets. Here is another pair of Air Max 95s that Nike plans to retro in 2010. The Slate Air Max 95s were originally released back in 2005. This upcoming retro is expected to be identical to the originals, which is always a heads up for sneakerheads. The nickname “Slate” comes from entirely the colorway, which is White/New Green-Blue Slate-Black. The sneaker features white uppers and a black outsole. Blue accents are seen on areas such as the lace holders and mid-panel while the midsole is done up in white. I personally think these are nice, but not as good as the Comets. Which one do you like better? There is no specific release date as of yet, so stay tuned for updates.
