The Athletic Propulsion Labs Concept 1 garnered different reactions from sneaker heads out there because of its claim and price tag. The debut shoe is priced at $300 and claim to instantly increase the vertical leap. As designed by Tuan Le, a former AND1 Tai Chi designer, the Concept 1 is now available as pre-order. The good thing is that this debut model can accommodate sizes ranging from 8-14. To give you an idea on how much is its weight, the size 9 shoe is about 15 ounces. It utilizes Load ‘N Launch technology that helps return energy during play and increases vertical leap. Its upper is made of carbon fiber look synthetic materials that are ultra-lightweight while its midsole are made of carbon fiber wash EVA. Other features include crystal rubber outsole, high-grade thermoplastic urethane shank, Load ‘N Launch sock liner and high-impact EVA insole. The Concept 1 is available in two colorways which are in Black/ APL Green and White/ Black/ APL Green.
