The adidas Samba has definitely been getting a lot of rotation in the sneaker world these days releasing in many different colorways honoring the World Cup teams and a whole slew of other random colorways.With all of the World Cup colorways releasing though, it has been easy to forget about some of the other releases that aren’t so immediately apparent on the radar.This is one of those pairs that we would like to take a closer look at both for its nice and simple colorway and good choice of materials.

This adidas Samba Ripstop in a white and air force blue colorway features an upper that is made up of both leather and ripstop nylon.The majority of the shoe is white but there is definitely enough of the air force blue colorway to round things out very nicely.This is definitely one that you should not sleep on.

They say that everything is bigger in Texas, and whether that quote is technically true or not is still up for debate, but one thing is for certain, the team colors for the Univeristy of Texas definitely look excellent when applied to a Nike sneaker.The latest shoe to get the University of Texas treatment is this new Nike Hyperdunk University of Texas PE.They may not be the best team in the league this year, but at least they will still feel great about themselves while they are wearing these excellent new PE edition Hyperdunks.

The upper on these are predominantly white but they feature an ample amount of orange as well for a very nice contrast.Perhaps one of the coolest parts of this shoe is the white and orange gradient that is featured on the mid panel of the shoe.Stay tuned for more information on these.

This coming spring season, the Asics will release new colorways for two of their classic runners namely GEL Lyte III and GEL Lyte Speed. For the previous, the new sneaker will come in white, grey and yellow combination while for the later is a white and royal blue combination with speckled print detailing on the midsole. High quality materials of Durasheen panels and suede were used to match up the company’s unique split-tongue style.

Street designer, Nunca collaborated another Nike shoe for the World Cup 2010 which is the Sweet Classic High Brazil. The canvas upper that comes in Black was decorated with Brazilian imagery on the side panel which caused it to be de-Swooshed. The design could be thought to be another sneaker brand since it is only in the heel panel that it displays the NIKE label. [HighSnobiety]

The Vans Coconut Shell Pack was intended for the Spring 2010 with two iconic models. The Era and Old Skool both come in Navy and Coconut Shell combo vary in designs. The Old Skool features a checkboard pattern with Vans logo on the side while the Era owns a plain Beige mid-panel. Both shoes possess Vans tab and White vulcanized rubber soles. [HighSnobiety]
