  • Air Jordan Icons
By on March 14th, 2010 | No Comments Comments

The Air Jordan Icons is one of the best Team Jordans right now. We have seen a lot of NBA players rock these during their games. Some players include Ray Allen, Joe Johnson, Gerald Wallace and many more NBA superstars. The official colorway of this sneaker is dubbed Black/Black-Varsity Red. This sneaker is kept really simple with black used as the dominant color. Red accents are used on the inner lining, tongue, and outsole. White covers the design on the side panels and is used on the outsole. Can these be rocked away from the basketball court, or are these meant for hoops? These are available now at select retailers.

I cant remember the last time we saw a Air Max 3. But without warning us, Nike has released a new colorway of the Air Max 3. The colorway jumps right onto the shoe, and is certainly eye catching. If you didn’t know, this was Kevin Garnetts signature shoe a while back. It was formally known as the Air Garnett 3. Now onto the features of the shoe. The attention grabbing wave design is seen along the quarter panels and is done up in Metallic Gold leather. The same gold leather is used on the Nike Swoosh and collar area. The shoe is finished off with a white midsole and outsole. This shoe isn’t really that bad, the colorway does most of the work. Available now at at House of Hoops locations.

These sneakers may look like the Foamposite but the truth is, these are the new colorways of Nike ½ Cent. One of the most popular hybrid sneakers previously released, the Nike ½ Cent in original varsity royal colorway combined the styles of the popular Penny Hardaway line. This coming holiday season, new colorways will hit the retailers that include eggplant and cranberry.

  • Air Jordan VI GS “Rainbow”
By on March 13th, 2010 | No Comments Comments

There is a number of 6s that are set to release this year. We saw the Black/Varsity Red 6s in January, and we should expect the Air Jordan VI Retro “Infrared Pack” sometime this June. But here we get a pair of 6s that is only for the little feet. Actually, these surfaced in September 2009 when Jordan Brand’s Summer 2010 catalog leaked. This isn’t gonna get as much hype as the other 6s, but it should find its way off retailers shelves.

This Gradeschool model of the Air Jordan VI sports white uppers made of smooth leather. Black is used on the tongue and lacelocks, while the Jumpman on the tongue and heel comes in pink. The most notable feature on the sneaker has to be the rainbow midsole. It contains colors such as pink flash, volt, and marine blue. The shoe features a pretty simple colorway, but the rainbow midsole gives the shoe a nice spark. Look for these sometime next month at select Jordan Brand retailers.
