By on March 18th, 2010 | No Comments Comments

The Nike Hyperdunk Low has been seen on the feet of many NBA superstars this season. The have been rocked by stars such as Steve Nash and Deron Williams. But now the next Hyperdunk Low Player Exclusive go’s to Aaron Brooks of the Houston Rockets. The shoe comes in the home colors of the Houston Rockets. The majority of the upper uses white leather and flywire. The midsole and outsole also feature white. Red accents are visible on the Nike Swoosh, midsole, tongue, outsole, shoe laces, inner lining, and flywire. “AB #0″, which is his signature and jersey number, is placed on the heel. Im not a big fan of the Hyperdunk Low, but this colorway can do big things for the low top basketball sneaker. No word on any release date yet, so stay tuned for updates.

By on March 18th, 2010 | No Comments Comments

If “Larry Perkins” doesn’t ring a bell, these were once dubbed “Chirping Bird. This Nike SB Dunk Low has been seen many times with many different views. Larry Perkins is a fictional character, who was the so called “most underrated skater ever”. If you remember, there was a chirping noise placed on the shoe when it was first designed. But it has since been replaced with a telephone ring.

The sneaker features a pretty dope design and colorway. The uppers are done up in black denim, while black patent leather is used on the Nike Swoosh and along the sides of the sneaker. Red accents are added to the tongue tag and outsole, while the midsole comes in a clean white. These are set to be a quickstrike release , and should be available at your local Nike SB retailer. The official release date is Saturday, March 20th, which is only 4 days away.

    Nike Zoom Hyperfuse
Nike has been integrating the Torch technology to some of its running shoes and this time, it extends to the basketball models. Although it is a little bit bare, the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse receives a “Yes” vote in the latter sport. This was made possible by the lightweight material used that promotes breath ability while the Torch has a unique design that varies in each game. This all-new sneaker owns a net-like upper with solid rubber sole. Yellow, Grey, and Green are the colors to choose from. [NiceKicks]

  • Nike Hypermax 2010 – Lakers
By on March 17th, 2010 | No Comments Comments

The Hypermax isn’t really made for the Guards. Its made to ease the feet of forwards and centers. But with this new 2010 version, any position in the game can strap them on. Other than the performance changes, the colorway and the design is pretty dope. Most of the shoe is covered in glossy Carbon Fiber. The colorway is pretty strait forward, as the obvious inspiration behind the colorway are the NBA Champions.  Other than the dominant Carbon Fiber, Patent leather is seen on the heel and collar. The Air Max 360 degree unit is also featured on the sneaker and is done up in purple. The outsole also features purple. We have no details regarding the release, so stay tuned for updates.

  • Air Jordan V – Eddie Jones Player Exclusive – Memphis Grizzlies Away
By on March 17th, 2010 | No Comments Comments

During his long stint in the NBA, Eddie Jones always wore some fresh Air Jordans. He was a great player for a while, but his age slowed him down a bit. Here we see a pair of Vs that was given to Eddie Jones as a Player Exclusive. During that time, Jones was playing for the Memphis Grizzlies. The sneaker comes in the Grizzlies Away colors. This colorway looks identical to the color scheme used on the Nubuck 12s. Black nubuck covers the entire upper, while University Blue accents are seen on the midsole, tongue, and heel. Eddie Jones  number, 6, is placed towards the heel. Like all other Vs, the shoe is finished off with a clear icy outsole. The colorway is pretty simple but the fact that its a PE, makes it nice no matter what.

    Reebok Fullington Black/Steel
Inspired by today’s modern style, the Reebok Fullington was geared up with a prominent ankle strap that prompts an embossed bold Reebok branding. This high top which uses heavily-perforated panels is a brave image of an emerging unique approach. With the all-Black patent leather, the upper is never a loser especially that it can count on the neatly set up White rubber sole. [SneakerNews]
